when we try the remote connection, with the ip adress, it works

when we try the remote connection with "servervpn", he doesn"t find it, but with the old name, it stills work....

what can we change, that it works? whats the problem? thx

The name you give a VM in VMware need not correspond to the hostname and network identity of the VM, hence changing the name in VMware without making corresponding changes in DHCP, DNS, or the guest OS's own record of its identity will give you this sort of result.

Like jmcg said, change the DNS record for the IP-address of the VM in question to reflect the new name "servervpn".
