I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. You have to go in Tools>compatibility view setting and then you can add your site:

I am not saying you will not get the results you want, but websites put in the Compatibility View window will render in IE7.

Hi

Thank you for the updates, the Compatibility View window does renders in IE7 and the website doesn't work as expected.  If we change the document mode to IE8 or higher than the website works fine, is there a way we can chancge the document mode from IE7 to something higher (automate the process) when we put a webiste to compatibility view?

Thanks

Win 7 has something called Enterprise Mode which allows IE 11 to toggle the use of IE 8 standards.  And this can be set up using Group Policy.  See the section "Enable Enterprise Mode with Group Policy" in this reference which has several images to help set this up.
