how can I update an exchange 2013 certificate

I have a certificate on our  exchange 2013 server and we need to add another subject alternate name to it. So I added the new name to the cert via godaddy and now got the new cert from them. How can I add this to the 2013 server since the cert is already there but needs this other cert with the 1 added subject name?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Unfortunately you cannot use the file you got from GoDaddy, as you don't have a matching request on the server. Generate a new CSR on the server, then do a rekey within the GoDaddy system. You will then get a new response which you can install on to the server and then remove the original.
