"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You cannot decrypt them yourself. The files are GONE. You need to restore them from backup.

If no backup (REALLY!) and you are comfortable dealing with criminals, consider paying the ransom. We do NOT recommend that in here, rather restore from backup.

Never, ever pay the ransom. You just encourage the crooks that way. First I suggest you shutdown the PC's and particularly disconnect them from that LAN. Then report the incident to your local law enforcement agencies. They may want to look at the PC's so they can get some idea on traces to catch the criminals. After that clean your PC's from the infection (the best way is to do a factory restore or clean installation).

After that, when you have installed your AV tool, run all updates, and installed your software, restore your data from your backups.

Also make sure to check any external drives, cloud storage, and network shares, as the files there can also have been encrypted.

As already mentioned by thinkpads, there is no way to decrypt the data without the keys.
