Calander share Outlook. (exchange 2007)

User is able to access the main shared calendar but when trying to add an entry to it she gets the following error " You don't have permission to create an entry in this folder.  Right-click the folder, and then click Properties to check your permissions for the folder.  See the folder owner or your administrator to change your permission."  The user has owner permission for the main calendar but she still gets this error the first time she starts the outlook everyday.  The user have to manually reconnect using the  Ctrl + outlook icon (right click) on the taskbar and going into connection status and reconnecting.   Any thoughts on what is going on here.

sounds like a client side issue.  its opening outlook, but not auto connecting to server?  Does email send and receive if the user does not do the Ctrl + outlook icon (right click) on the taskbar?

either way, I run into weird issues all the time for my users and normally the easiest thing to do is "ADD"a new outlook profile (but don't delete the old one).

Be sure not to delete old one in case you decide to go back.  The only real consequence of this is waiting for the email to download from the server again.  However, it normally starts with the more recent stuff.  

It may not address the exact cause, but it is one minute solution vs hours or days of troubleshooting

Share the screenshot of the connection status. Looks some session is not getting authenticated. Check to see one which is disconnected (something like attached) and work on it.
