We have staff that bring their personal iPads and connect to our organisation network. We setup proxy’s settings when they connect their MacBook to our network.<br />
&nbsp;When they take it home they must come out of the proxy. Every day they have to keep entering the proxy settings with user name and password when they connect their MAC book to our network.<br />
<br />
&nbsp;Is there an easy way of setting up a network location, so they need not to keep typing the proxy settings every day when they are at work place &nbsp;and they can just switch the locations.<br />
&nbsp;If there is way, please post me some tutorials.<br />

How to setup proxy settings when staff move iPads between home and work networks.

iPad is an iOS-based line of tablet computers built around the device's multi-touch screen, including a virtual keyboard. The iPad includes built-in Wi-Fi and cellular connectivity on select models. An iPad can shoot video, take photos, play music, and perform Internet functions such as web-browsing and emailing. Other functions – games, reference, GPS navigation, social networking, etc. – can be enabled by downloading and installing apps.

Apple devices including Macs, iPhones, iPods and iPad support standard wired and wireless networking technologies, but they also utilize custom applications and some special techniques for networking with each other and with non-Apple devices. Apple manufacturers the AirPort line of wireless networking products, and has its own networking protocols, AppleTalk and AFP (Apple Filing Protocol).

Apple's early computers ran on a variety of operating systems, including a Pascal version and one based on CP/M, before releasing its ProDOS with the advent of its 16-bit computer. With the release of the Lisa, which had its own OS, Apple and computing entered the graphical age; it was followed by the Macintosh, which offered a series of "System" operating systems. Other Mac operating systems included PowerPC until Apple acquired NeXT and folded it into the Mac OS. Current operating systems for Apple devices are Mac OS-X and iOS.
