Outlook contact issues, Primary Address Changed - Home address vs Business address showing after migration

Good morning All,

Thanks for any help you can provide on this.

I have a client which we did a RackSpace to Office 365 migration through SkyKick. The migration went well except to one odd thing. The end user had all his contact addresses switch from Business as primary address to Home as primary.

He has about 3500 contacts, so I am looking for a way to do a bulk change on the primary address either on the desktop Outlook side or on the hosted O365 side which ever will work.

Are those personal contacts (i.e. stored in his mailbox People folder) or company-wide ones (i.e. stored in the GAL)? In the later scenario, you should be able to bulk change this via PowerShell. But since you mentioned business and home address, it seems to be the first case, in which case you should look into some VBS macro.

Yes - I worked with MS support and determined that they are in the Outlook client Personal contacts only. I now need to find code to fix this. If you have any suggestions they wound be much appreciated.
