find image in mysql db var

I have a string returned from a database that would be something like:

$text = 'This is one of the best parts from that show..'

Open in new window

what i want to do it return the image in the post by stripping out the image and placing the image after the text.

Hope that this makes sense.

$imgoutput = '<image src=' . $imgurl .  '>';
echo $imgoutput;

Open in new window

This only works with a google based image url  as presented. This is not a safe solution either. It can be attacked.

A better solution would be to grab any image by way of recursive regex searches, validate found images, scrub it for attacks, and output image.

However, copyright and other legal issues could emerge from this type of strip and display strategy.
