Excel VBA Add SmartArt to new PowerPoint presentation from Excel

I have the following code to add a new smart art object to Excel. Is it possible to copy the code through to PowerPoint?

Set oSALayout = Application.SmartArtLayouts(92)
    'Set oShp = ActiveWorkbook.ActiveSheet.Shapes.AddSmartArt(oSALayout)
Dim cellleft As Integer: cellleft = Range("A1").Left
Dim celltop As Integer: celltop = Range("A1").Top
    Set oShp = ActiveWorkbook.ActiveSheet.Shapes.AddSmartArt(oSALayout, cellleft, celltop, 550, 1300)

    Set QNodes = oShp.SmartArt.AllNodes
For i = 1 To 5      'delete all included nodes

Set oSALayout = Application.SmartArtLayouts(92)
Set sld = Application.ActiveWindow.View.Slide
Set oShp = sld.Shapes.AddSmartArt(oSALayout, 0, 0, 550, 1300)

Set QNodes = oShp.SmartArt.AllNodes
For i = 1 To 5 'delete all included nodes

You can set the SmartArt to match the size of your side with the following code (or add a margin as required). Also note that in order to delete all nodes, you need to count backwards in the collection (I also changed 1 to i in the loop). Finally, it is good practice to declare all variables to avoid errors.

Option Explicit

Sub InsertSmartArt()
  Dim oSALayout As SmartArtLayout
  Dim oSld As Slide
  Dim oShp As Shape
Dim i As Integer, QNodes As SmartArtNodes
  Set oSALayout = Application.SmartArtLayouts(92)
  Set oSld = Application.ActiveWindow.View.Slide
  With ActivePresentation.PageSetup
    Set oShp = oSld.Shapes.AddSmartArt(oSALayout, 0, 0, .SlideWidth, .SlideHeight)
  End With
  Set QNodes = oShp.SmartArt.AllNodes
  For i = QNodes.Count To 1 Step -1 'delete all included nodes
End Sub
