Basic DNS setup - First Time Install Server 2012

How can i setup basic DNS so that pc's can discover the new domain controller and all other queries are forwarded to internet dns servers
 I'm having trouble getting pc's to join a new domain at the moment.

DNS ForwarderHi,

On the new system enter the IP address of the domain controller i.e DNS server in the preferred DNS server section on the LAN card properties try to join it again to the domain it should work. And for all other queries which you want to forward it to the internet setup a DNS forwarder > Open the DNS console right click server go to properties > Forwarders enter the IP address of the ISP DNS.
