"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

The easiest way would probably be to place all the data into a pre-sorted Excel file and use the Visio org chart wizard to automatically import and plot the data.

However, *why* do you want to do this?  Unless you will be printing this on a giant banner, it will be unreadable...

Thank you Patrick.  i did use the Visio org chart wizard.  The end result gets me 35 pages.  It will not be printed but will be attached as an email file.  i also need to alphabetize the pages and workbook tabs.  Is there a quick way to do that?  Thanks

The Visio org chart wizard doesn't provide a way to sort position shapes within a page. In fact, it's slightly worse than that because the wizard decides where to put things on each page. Even if your Excel input is sorted, the wizard will rearrange the shapes on each page as it sees fit.

If you want the pages to be sorted into a specific sequence, you'll need to do that yourself. It would be pretty easy to write a small program to sort the pages based on the page names... if you're interested, let me know. I'd be happy to throw something together.

Thanks for your offer but not necessary this time. It took me quite some time but I did the manual sort and sent it out. I'm waiting for comments before arriving at a specific sort. I'll post the request again when I know for sure what's needed. Thanks again
