Exchange 2013 CU 8

We currently have Exchange 2010 with the latest CU. We are in the process of rolling out O365 and have already migrated a few mailboxes. However, we would like to take advantage of CU 8 for our EAS users. Would simply adding an Exchange 2013 CU 8 server allow us to take advantage of this feature?

They can co-exist quite happily. Both servers will need to be exposed to the internet, with their own host name and IP address (and therefore an SSL certificate).

No.
The functionality available to the clients is driven by the version of the server their mailbox is on. To get Exchange 2013 functionality you need to have the mailboxes on an Exchange 2013 mailbox server.

Can Exchange 2010 and 2013 coexist, and will moving mailboxes to Exchange 2013 CU8 allow for this functionality?
