What ports on FW are needed to be opened for sccm 2012 clients

I have a bunch of systems behind a firewall and I need to get the ports opened so they can talk to the sccm server.

What ports need to be opened?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi,

The link above is for 2007. 2012 is similar but adds a number of differences, so you need to refer to the 2012 info. The latest link specifically for 2012 clients is here:

https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh427328.aspx#BKMK_CommunicationPorts

The basic functions

Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) - 80
Secure Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTPS) - 443
Client notification (default communication before falling back to HTTP or HTTPS) - 10123
