VMWare vmdk/virtual disk management

I have the following situation:  I set up a server in vmware with disks made to a vendor's specifications.  They are disk1 (C: drive) 85GB,
disk2 (D: Drive) 100GB and disk3 (Page file drive) of 35 GB.  The vendor failed to install their software on D: and put it on C: instead, which is now running out of space and cannot be extended any further.  All three disks (vmdk files) reside in the same datastore with the same pathing.  Here is my question:  Can I delete the disk 2 vmdk and then remove the D: drive in the Windows Server OS and take that space to expand disk1and it's vmdk file and then extend the C: partition in the server OS?  I know I can delete the vmdk and disk in vmware but will that then become available for the expansion as I described?

Thanks, but will this change the max size provisioned in vmware for disk1?  Currently all disks are using the max amount of space provisioned, so if I delete the vmdk will this automatically increase the provisioned max size for disk 1 by 100 GB?
Eric Lentz

Not automatically.  You'll need to edit the properties of disk 1 to give it the 100Gb.

OK...let me clarify to be sure.  I am familiar with adding provisioned size (up to the max) to a virtual disk and extending partitions in the OS.  Here is where I am not so sure:  By deleting that 2nd virtual disk and that in turn deleting the vmdk, does that extra space allow the extension of the max size allowed for provisioning in disk 1.  Particularly if disk 1 was already created as 85GB and provioned to that max size?
Your help has saved me hundreds of hours of internet surfing.

Answered my own question but just trying...Deleted volume from the OS, Removed virtual disk 2 and it's files and, yes the extra space showed up for Disk 1.  Expanded the provisioned size and extended the C: volume in the OS.  Thanks to all who commented.
