Address Range Conflict Error for Windows 2008 r2 on VmWare

Dear Experts,

Some of the Windows 2008 R2 virtual servers running on VmWare 5.1 started to fall into blue screen with "C0000018" address range error when they're restarted. Some of them with similar configuration do not have this problem.

What can I do to solve the problem?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

first try SAFE MODE. if it is okay in Safe Mode, then try using MSCONFIG to check the start-up and autorun items and see if any unknown items are there. try removing the unknown items one by one.
