Guest OS shutdown alarm

Hi, when i power down a VM from Vcenter i get alarm trigerred but not the case when server powered off from guest OS. i'm concerned if for some reasons a server reboot from OS i won't get alert in Vcenter. am i missing something?

The VM State is Power On or Powered Off, these are Alarm Triggers, that occur from when issued from vCenter.

e.g. Power On or Power Off request.

Shutdown from within the VM, is neither of these, that an OS Shutdown.

and a Server Reboot is  a Warm or Cold Reboot, it's not a power off or on.
