Easiest way to upgrade iPad

Hi,
I have several models of iPad for users at work I need to upgrade. What's the best way to go about this? I could use iTunes or take an Icloud backup?

Regards,

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Connect the device to a power supply and to the internet via WiFi
Tap Download and Install
If you have do not enough free space to update over the air, you can either update using iTunes or delete (or backup for recovery later)  content manually from your device.
You will have the same amount of free space on your device after your update.

If the iPads can be backed up to their respective iCloud accounts without going over the limit, I'd suggest just using that.  Otherwise, you'll probably just want to use the iTunes method.

Short answer: iTunes. Take backup on PC or Mac, update software if needed and restore backup over new ipad.

@Michael-Best: don't worry, you'll get your points if your installation suggestion and Moto Watch spam are accepted as the answer.  ;-)  I personally just thought I'd briefly answer the question asked.  :)
