How to uninstall VS 2013 Ultimate after errors installing CTP 5?

Hi, I have VS2013 Ultimate with Update 3 on my Windows 7 PC.

I downloaded and ran Update 5 ctp 3,

I run the downloaded file and it gave a bunch of errors.  I now realize what I need is VS update 4 instead.   I download and run update 4 and now VS is confused by saying that this is an earlier version than what I have and it's blocked the installation of update 4.  I think somehow it thinks it has update 5 installed on my pc.

So, how can I uninstall either CTP 5 or VS2013 from my PC and re-install it then apply update 4?  There is no Un-install option from Control Panel.  Running VS2013 setup program doesn't offer to un-un-install either.

Thank you.

Is the Repair command available, either from the Control Panel or from the install disk. With a bit of luck, that might help you.

You may also try the switch suggested by Microsoft in the Forcibly removing Visual Studio 2012 section of That switch might be available in 2013 also, and according to the thing, it can be used even if the application was already uninstalled, which is what the system seems to be thinking in your situation.

I ran the VS2013 Repair yesterday from Program and Feature.  Now I'm running removal of CTP 5 Update.  Hopefully that will fix it and then I can install Update 4.  Thank you.
