Anyway to quickly setup email accounts on my staff's phones by specifying default email settings (pop server/smtp server) in the DNS...

They mostly have iPhones and Androids...

I want it so when I create a new email account on their phone, user@domain.com, it queries the DNS of domain.com for default SMTP server, etc.?

Is this possible?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Ok then do not include a host for imap, Just covering the basis.

smtp, mail and pop are the ones seemingly used for the "autodiscovery" if the hosts are defined they are used. pop for the incoming, mail or smtp for the outgoing.
