Windows Server 2012 Cluster

Hi Experts,

I am creating a two nodes cluster with two Windows server 2012 R2 servers.

My plan is to create a SQl cluster after I finished creating this Windows Cluster.

Any suggestions on how to accomplish this goal?

Thank you all for your responses, I appreciate it.  I am having an issue with creating the actual Windows cluster part of this project.

Do I need to configure a separate server (server #3) to create an ISCSI target with the clustered drive or can I use one of the two nodes ?

Thanks
Hi,

You can create ISCSI target on those 2 nodes itself. However i would recommend to create it on the Server 3. Refer the below link for the same. Since it's going to be added on the Cluster and you're planning for the SQL Server Failover cluster. I would recommend to have this ISCSI on Server 3
