This is for finding a cell phone number that is less than 10 digits. How can I make it so it will find any phone number less than 10 digits that is either [cell] or [home]

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Well, I would generally store phone numbers in a separate table, so I don't have to have separate columns for the Type of phone.  That table might look like:

PersonID    PhoneType   Phone_Number

or possibly:

PersonID   PhoneTypeID  PhoneNumber

In the first example, PhoneType would be a text field, but I prefer to have a tbl_PhoneTypes with PhoneTypeID and PhoneType, to allow the user to select from a list of phone types, rather than entering the text.
