"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Yes, you can install and use apps installed on the SD card.

As stated by Michael yes.  This link gives you a really nice free app to move them there and walks you through the process.  This should let you run any app off the Sd

The phone is a Samsung S4. Strangely, transferred an app to SD Card and then the app doesn't seem to show on the phone anymore and some apps transferred appear to be greyed out !!!
KimputerCommented:
If transferred successfully, AND they're greyed out, your SD card is currently not detected properly (you either removed it, or the SD card/reader is defect).
