Though Santosh Gupta answer was not the correct way to solve this problem, it did fix the &quot;multiple icon&quot;, thus awarded it. &nbsp;Nevertheless, our solution is the correct one and chosen as &quot;Best Solution&quot; so other members can refer to it.

The Chrome icon on the task bar keeps creating another icon. &nbsp;It doesn't behave as the other apps that when opened it gets &quot;highlighted&quot; or &quot;selected&quot; in its same place. &nbsp;Below is an example of what is happening.<br />
