in powershell what's a good way to move data from db A to db B ?


I need to move data from DB A to  DB B  with powershell. the db server is sqlserver.

i'm moving data from table to table, only columns names are different and in a different order.

what would be a good way to do this ?

You can't do that with SQL on the SQL Server machine directly?

You should perform that via a client only if you do not have connections between both DBs on the server(s). And you'll have to copy row by row that way.
