On the prowl for the worlds thinnest laptop roller

Ok, so I need to carry some things with my laptop so a neoprene bag doesn't quite cut it.  However, carrying everything in a giant rolling backpack doesn't make sense either in some situations.

I'm looking for a very thin bag that will allow me to roll it as opposed to carry it.  Lot's of pockets are fine but the bulk and/or extra high price tag isn't.  Assistance is greatly appreciated.

Not a bad add-on.  Still looking for thin rolling laptop bag that won't break the bank.

can you give a comparison for what you're after in relation to what's suggested?

What you suggested is not a thin, rolling, laptop bag

That's a tough find! Here are a few that might suit your needs without breaking the bank:

Thanks for those.   So far not a great fit on those.  Still looking.  Thanks for the assistance...

This one is interesting because the wheeled component is not permanently attached to the bag:

Yep, nice looking bag but way too bulky and definitely way too expensive.  My initial thinking was that I would be able to find something super thin (like a small neoprene bag on wheels) for under $25, but I may be dreaming.
frugalmuleAuthor Commented:
I will need something with some pockets potentially, but I certainly don't need all the bulk that comes with most traditional bags today.  The fabric and the wheel base tends to make people aim for lots of bulk as opposed to less of it.

I've never seen anything like what you have described, so I would be surprised to see one meet those needs and be under the $50 mark.

The basic function of a sleeve is so that you can put it into whatever bag you like while protecting your laptop. Maybe finding a sleeve that works for you and then a rolling bag that you like would get you the results you want.

I just need something that rolls but very thin.  That's the challenge.

Try this one:

Dimensions: 16"W x 12"H x 4"D
Laptop Compartment: 14"W x 10"H x 1.5"D
Fits most laptops up to: 15"
Product Weight: 4.9

Comes in black not just red.

$120 + shipping.  It also looks more like a purse than a professional attaché bag.

Ok, so when you said thinnest you did not really mean thinnest like that one which is 4 inches. It's a roller with a pull handle and not thin but skinny.
We'll keep looking for you.

Thank you Nick.

Not sure how to describe.  Probably as close to carrying an empty manilla folder as I can get, but on wheels.
