"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I suggest you take a look at the free PHP calendars that you can download.  A calendar is a complete application all by itself.  It is better to at least use one that someone has already done before you try to do your own.  This search https://www.google.com/search?q=PHP+calendar will list a lot of sources.

A calendar is a fairly big application, with a lot of nuance.  For a few examples, as well as some of the background understanding you will need, please have a look at this.

@vishnu kalakota: I see you're relatively new to Experts-Exchange and you may not have seen the grading guidelines yet.  Please read this page:

You are expected to engage in dialog with your fellow experts, and you're required to explain when you give a grade below an "A."  What was wrong with the answers here?  What did you expect that you did not get?
