Configuring LDAP with SSL for Server 2012

Current environment:
Configured a Server 2012 R2 Domain Controller
Then added a Root CA that is joined to the domain.
Servers all use the Root CA for Remote Desktop certificates.

Question:
How can I make sure LDAP with SSL is working for the domain controller, and also make sure it is using the Root CA if certificates are involved?

Thanks

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You can use the free LDP.exe utility and Connect to your DC via LDAP Port 636 with SSL connected.
It will display some ssl information but not necessarily which Root CA it is using...

I got it. It looks like it was always working but ldp.exe doesn't work of the machine I'm testing from doesn't trust the DC's SSL cert
