VMware View - Dedicated or Floating
Hi All,
I am working on a vmware view project for a company. They have about 188 users and all the users are devided per deparment.
My thoughts were to create a dedicated pool per deparment, that way users log into the same VDI each time and therefore log on speed will be fast. also only necessary apps are installed per department. we thought of utilising SCCM for software/patch deployment, as well as utilise thin app/rds for applicable apps.
Is there a better way i can appraoch this? such as use floating pool instead of dedidacated etc??
Thank you in advance.

ASKER
whats the $$$?
Cost... Dedicated would be optimal for nodelocked licences for example.
