Samples or articles of 3rd party app XML Communication with XSD

I have to communicate with a 3rd party application via XML. The vendor furnishes an XSD and the VB.Net code that creates class and the XML Serialized Array List collections. But I have no idea how to use them. Can somebody point me to sample code or articles to get started?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I'm not sure about your specific requirements but try to start from understanding XSD and generating XML from XSD:

Also, about serialization: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/vstudio/2baksw0z(v=vs.100).aspx
