Running REPADMIN on mutltiple forests

Hi All,

Please help. I need to provide a reporting of a daily health check (running repadmin /replsum /bysrc /bydest /sort:delta) on different forests remotely. I need to find a script or an automated way of doing this by running a script on a terminal server (domain A) and remotely get the repadmin results of FOREST A (of itself) and remotely run it for FOREST B, C, D, E..etc

Is that doable? Please help!

I am asking because I want to get rid of the need to create a script or automated scheduled task to run "repadmin" command on every terminal server on every forest in our environment.

Thanks!

From my experience you cannot run repadmin command remotely for another Forest. I have verified this on the MS TechNet for Repadmin command.

This is Domain/Forest and or Domain Controller Specific for a particular domain.

Check the above link for all parameters.

Ok thank you for the confirmation... Another question, is there an alternative script solution that gives me the ability to check replication health of multiple forests from one single location (fyi, mutlple forests in our environment have two way transitive relationships). Please advise. Thanks!

Not that i am aware of. You need to be logged in directly to the Forest/Domain and run the command this way. If someone has another method of doing this I would like to see an example.
