Documenting AD Structure, Security Groups & Network Shares for Handover to another team

I am in the process of documenting everything in the network so it can be passed onto a new team.
Just after some ideas or tools that make this process a bit easier to document.

It can become difficult sometime to get your head around the best way to represent all of the connections on a spreadsheet.
Eg You need to be a member of Security Group A, which will then add you to the script/GP that will map X,Y&Z drives
