I have a Windows 2012 R2 with RemoteApp. Excel keeps saying Not Responding
The problem is that my users often experience that Excel is trying to open, but ends up with Not Responding instead. Does anyone have any idea to what this is a result of?
Issue could be that users did connect to Excel and working in Excel, the application hung. When this happens, sometimes the users get disconnected. Upon relaunching Excel, user will be connected back to the session where Excel was hung. To validate this, find a user with the problem and ensure he/she does not have RDP session open on his/her computer, run quser on the server and see if there is a session for the user. If there is then logoff the user by running logoff xxx where xxx is the session ID and then try again.
If above is true then you need to find out why Excel is crashing/hanging.
