I don't think a backup activity to will cause any IP conflict in Exchange 2010 DAG. However still cross-check the NIC Card adapter IP address assisgned on Exchange Server. ALso check the MAPI/Relication network created under DAG is unique they shouldn't be conflicting with each other.<br />

They are unique. This was just an anomaly that occurred at 0:03 in the morning so is quite odd! But if there's very little I can do other than check for any conflicts, then I assume I've covered all bases :-)

Exchange is the server side of a collaborative application product that is part of the Microsoft Server infrastructure. Exchange's major features include email, calendaring, contacts and tasks, support for mobile and web-based access to information, and support for data storage.

The term "Backup" means the methods and processes involved to copy computer data (system data as well as application data) to media other than the ones where the data originally live (disk, tape, optical, cloud).
