I'm considering implementing an automated process that could add route statements to a Windows 2008 server as a way to block miscreants probing for vulnerabilities. &nbsp;Since this could (potentially) create a large # of entries, does anyone know of any inherent limit to the # of route statements Windows can handle?<br />

Is there any limit on the # of route statements Windows 2008 can handle?

Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008 R2, based on the Microsoft Vista codebase, is the last 32-bit server operating system released by Microsoft. It has a number of versions, including including Foundation, Standard, Enterprise, Datacenter, Web, HPC Server, Itanium and Storage; new features included server core installation and Hyper-V.
