hello,

I have some problem with ssrs configuration.
Every time when I run report from custom application I got question about user and password to login report web services. Is any way to avoid that ? I'd like setup some kind of universal user with required credentials so people can run reports using build-in credentials instead put username and password every time.

thanks

henry

The Web.config files for the Report Server Web service and Report Manager must have
<identity impersonate= "true" />.

From there you can grant "everyone" permissions.  As long as they are on the domain you'll get approved.

Do you know if that change will be working with any web browser (IE, Mozilla, Chrome) ?
Looks like people are dealing with that many ways.
Based on the info I should make change in rsreportserver.config file, right ?

thanks

It'll support multiple browser as they pass through their credentials.  Correct on the config file.  Confirm this is for intranet only?

It is.
Working. I mean working in IE. Still had to manipulate config file in mozilla to force to work since NTLM is disabled.
Also print functionality is not working in Mozilla at all , no active-x support.

Anyway, thanks for help
