Excel -- frequency distribution

Experts:

I need some assistance with counting frequencies for a frequency distribution table.   Please see attached XLS.

The count of 25 records should not change.    However, what may change is the value for the lower limit and the class interval.

Any ideas for a function that will automate the frequency distribution?

Thank you,
EEH

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Use this formula..

=SUMPRODUCT(($C$7:$C$31>=F6)*($C$7:$C$31<=G6))

Open in new window

Or Option-2

=COUNTIFS($C$7:$C$31,">="&F6,$C$7:$C$31,"<="&G6)

Open in new window

Enclosed is the file for your reference...

You can use a formula like this in cell H6 and copy down.
