Dear Paulsolov,

I am completley new in Netapp...please guide me or any link please how to restore data from Cfs or nfs shares, yes there is a share.

Thanks

Kash
If there is a share then it's fairly easy as long as you have snapshots.

Take a look at the share and browse it.  You may see a "~snapshot" directory, if you browse the directory you'll see what look like snapshot folders.  In each folder is the state of the share volume (or sub volume) at the time the snapshot was taken, this data is read only. If you copy and paste into production volume you're data is back.

You can also use previous versions

please help.
did you review the current share to see if you have a "`snapshot directory"?  Is the entire share missing or just some files you're trying to recover?
How do we do that...is there any video in youtube?
How do access your Netapp share currently?

Please provide more information to the issue at hand.  Did you have access to the Netapp share and it stopped working or did someone lose a file and they need to recover it?  Without detailed information on the actual problem it's hard to point you to a way to resolve it.
I just want to restore data from a share ..don tknow how.
1.  Do you know what share it is?
2.  Do you have access to this share?
3.  Do you see a ~snapshot folder in this share if you're able to access it?
were you able to figure it out?
