Hi,

samsung galaxy phone memory issues i have.

i have total space
1.34 gb

applications
331mb
pictures, videos
1.15gb

how to remove phots and videos to external hard drive.

how to make photo video default location to mini micro sd card which i have 32 gb.

how to install new apps to mini micro sd card itself and move exiting ones there

Remove photos and video to external hard drive, just connect USB cable to a PC or laptop. It will mount your memory, and you can use Copy & paste (then delete original)

whne i connected with wire to laptop it showes folders like Notifications, downloads etc.

But on my laptop does not show the folder sizes to see which is occupying most.

also phots are under dcim some reason.

DCIM is the default location, please proceed with copying, it's the correct way.

Install Samsung Kies on your PC.

(On some phones you have to go into USB debugging mode to get the driver on to your PC)

Photos and video default location settings are INSIDE the camera app. It's usually called Storage location inside the settings menu

Just click on it, it will give you only 2 options, Device/Phone Memory or Memory Card/SD Card.

when i click the camera it showed the setting kind of circle at top and i see Storage option which is already set to 'Memory card' not phone.

I wonder why i still have memory issues in that case even though i have 32 gb card. How to see how much free memory on the card left. please advise

Android > Settings > Storage. It will report the available space on the phone and the memory card.

SD card shows 29.7 gb total and available space 7.5 gb.

iw onder why i cannot take a picture when i have 7.5 gb

when my phone points to sd card in camera not sure why wont work

First, check if card is really working (copy big movies to the memory card)
Second, still try to clear space on the phone (because it still needs some space for temporary operations).
Check the Camera app again, Switch to phone, make picture, switch to memory card, take another picture.
