Hi,

There is already a solved case on Expert-Exchange regarding the same. Please refer the below link

https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/28415330/Exchange-2013-win-2012-r2.html

Thanks

@Manikandan Narayanswamy,

That link  was for in-place upgrade of an operating system with exchange installed. Not a fresh installation.

Hi,

Check from your exchange Server the domain controller is reachable or not. Use the following command to restart the AD services

net stop ntds
net start ntds
Also do a force replication by using the command

Repadmin / full

Thanks
Manikandan
do you have your autodiscover URLs setup correctly?

Configure External and Internal URL in Exchange 2013
http://www.mustbegeek.com/configure-external-and-internal-url-in-exchange-2013/

restarting ntds service on your domain controller doesn't make sense; you only have 1 in your lab so repadmin is irrelevant
if the domain controller wasn't reachable, you wouldn't be able to install exchange

hi guys;
repadmin /syncall
repadmin /showrepl *
this is all ok... no errors... i have restarted services  autodiscover is all set ok.. the reason i know this is that it was all working fine... this is a test environment just to mention (my 2nd server which is exchange 2013 does have replication for AD setup)
so do you have any issues now?

Guys - just noticed my database is not mounted- when i try mount it get error: failed to mount database. An active manager operation failed... error: An active manager operation encountered an error. The cluster service is not running...."
Hi,

Use the following command to resolve this issue on Exchange 2013 & see if this works. Also the suggestion provided by zac is also correct. If this doesnn't works you can run the following command to repair the DB. But the management shell command should work

Eseutil /P

New-Item -Type Directory -Path (Get-MailboxDatabase ManagersDB) .LogFolderPath

Thanks
Manikandan
Hi,

You can also change the log folder path from the EAC too. Refer the below link for your reference

https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ead4a96b-1717-435b-bcfc-9901ac4e3b58(v=exchg.150)#BKMK_Move

Thanks
Manikandan
please don't run eseutil /p
there is no reason for that

looks to me like a dag configuration issue; especially after mentioning the second server
