Can you post show ether channel summary please?

Is the NAS configured to use LACP?

Is there any particular reason why you want the channels to operate as trunk?
If not, change to access port

Port Channel showing down down just means there is a problem with the connection on the other end (The NAS server).
The individual switchports should be in UP and UP state

Servers use LACP by default and by specifyin "Active" on the channel group, the protocol used is LACP
Have you bundled (NIC Teaming) the NICs on the NAS together?
If yes,
Is the Etherchannel on the NAS a Layer 3 or Layer 2 channel?
Your switch is currently configured as a Layer 2 Etherchannel.

Configurations on both the switch and the server must match in times of protocols and policies to achieve an active link state

Try changing the type from 'active' to 'desirable.'  Also, what type of NAS device is attached? & what link aggregation protocol is it set to use (LACP, etc)?

Desirable is Cisco-Proprietary - it's used for PAgP.

Unless the NAS was a Cisco device the chosen solution can't be "the answer".
