Dual External Monitors on ThinkCentre M93z

I have a ThinkCentre M93Z to which I would like to add 2 external monitors.  Will the default Intel HD Graphics 4600 card support this?  I have a monitor attached to the Display port and another to the VGA port.  But the monitor attached to the VGA port shows a screen message: "No VGA Cable".

I've not done dual monitors with that specific computer but have done so with others using the HD 4600.

Have you tried running the system with only the VGA monitor connected?

Are you running Windows?  Which version?  I would check where you set the screen resolution to confirm that it is finding both monitors and that both are enabled.

Running Windows 8.1 Pro; Running with only VGA monitor connected does not work.  Checked Bios to see if anything was turned off, but that option is not present.
According to the specs at http://shop.lenovo.com/us/en/desktops/thinkcentre/m-series-all-in-ones/m93z/#tab-tech_specs (and also in the User's Guide), the VGA port is an input port, not an output port.  I assume this is to allow you to use the built-in monitor as a monitor driven by some other device.

It would appear that if you want two external monitors, you would need to add an expansion card with the appropriate outputs.  It may or may not shut off the internal monitor.
