Access Denied using Windows Recovery Wizard trying to Recover system state

Hello I have a Windows 2008 R2 server 64bits.

The server is a member server.

I recently had a problem on a server and restored JUST the system state to an old version from Nov 14 2014 using the Windows Recovery Wizard. Before the restore I create a Full Backup, just in case I ran into any problems.

The system State recovery was successful.

However, I realized that I needed to go back to a recent System state stored on the backup I previously created before the System State Recovery was performed.

Now if I try to run the system recovery using the same wizard I get an error:

Access is denied.

on the Event viewer I get the error the event ID : 774
Error reported 2147942405 General Access denied error.

Either another user is logged in and has files locked or the server is infected.  Here is how to restore the system state after booting from the installation DVD: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc755163.aspx
