I have been looking at the Application event log on our Windows 2012 server, which is running exchange 2010.<br />

I notice the following warning that crops up throughout the day, (with no other warnings apparent.) :-<br />

The execution time of agent 'Mailbox Rules Agent' exceeded 90000 milliseconds while handling event 'OnDeliveredMessage' for message with InternetMessageId: 'Not Available'. This is an unusual amount of time for an agent to process a single event. However, Transport will continue processing this message.<br />
<br />
This seems a rather vague message.<br />

Can anyone advise in a little more detail what this indicates, and how we go about resolving it?<br />

Windows Server 2012 is the server version of Windows 8 and the successor to Windows Server 2008 R2. Windows Server 2012 is the first version of Windows Server to have no support for Itanium-based computers since Windows NT 4.0. Windows Server 2012, now in its second release (Windows Server 2012 Release 2) includes Foundation, Essentials, Standard and Datacenter, and does not support IA-32 or IA-64 processors.
