updating merge fields in Microsoft word

I have a word template that is linked to an excel spreadsheet, but once I move to different directory, the links do not work.  Is there an easy way to update merged fields so that they will pull the data from the same spreadsheet in the new location.  Is there a way to change the path to the linked document.  I am using office 2013 and excel 2013.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Select the Mailings tab. From Select Recipients, choose "Use Existing List..." and browse for the new location.
