Is it possible to deploy a custom form into Windows SharePoint Services 3.0?

Hi,

I'm using very old technology here (for the time being).

I have developed a workflow in SPD 2007 which uses the function "collect data from user" as one of the actions.  The workflow is deployed to a WSS 3.0 team site.  The output to the log shows for the workflow shows that it proceeds up to the point where the collect data from user action is supposed to happen where it hangs (status "In progress").  The user specified doesn't receive anything to fill in.

Does WSS 3.0 allow these custom forms? Is there something that needs to be set-up somewhere (I only have admin rights to the team site and not central admin).

The workflow is started manually and the form there starts no problem.

Searched on support.office.com but the technology is so old that lots of webpages have been retired.

TIA

Have you checked the task list?  If I remember correctly it will be waiting for the user to do somethign in there, or from an email if that is how it was configured.

Hi,

The task was listed there, I was expecting the form to be sent to the user, instead of them having to go to the task list. However Sharepoint had other ideas and so I think I've found a work around (one of many with this version of sharepoint).

Thanks,
