Upgrading Vmware SRM 5.5

Hi All,

Im trying to upgrade my SRM install from 5.1 to 5.5 following a vcenter and esxi upgrade. The SRM server is currently 5.1 and I am trying to install. Every thing looks fine until li get to the SQL database config screen. When typing in valid credentials its responds very rapidly saying connection failed. It a local SQL express database. Which I can logon to.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.
