Exchange 2013 and Creating a Mailbox, that can be added outlook & iphones/andriods, auto accecpt meeting requests

Okay im trying to figure out how to accomplish this in Exchange 2013 and I seem to be confusing myself or maybe im just over looking the solution.

The old server they currently have SBS2003, a user was created called MasterCalendar, this user has an exchange rule setup so that when they use *MF (their initials) in the subject line it forwards a copy of the meeting request to them selves, it also has AutoAccept for 2003 installed..

What's going to be the best way to accomplish this?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You can do this exact same thing in Exchange 2013.

- You would create a resource mailbox
- Ensure that AutomateProcessing is set to AutoAccept
- Login to the mailbox, create a rule the same way you did in Exchange 2003

That's it.

Would it be okay to convert the user they already have to a Resource Mailbox?

Just one last question When I create a resource mailbox (room)  it creates the account disabled....So if I enable it and give it a password so they can use it on their handhelds , Wouldn't that be just like creating a user and sharing the calendar?

What you can do is if you have full mailbox access you can open the additional mailbox from OWA. You can also do this from Outlook if you create a new profile. You can then create the rules with in the mailbox to do your auto reply back.
