Using Microsoft Office 2013 running under Win7:
There is an annoying behavior: Any given Word document will become uneditable after a short number of revisions. Have to save it with a different name.
Is it possible to stop this from happening? Doesn’t seem to happen with Excel documents, only Word.

To answer your question: I store all my in-process "working" Word documents on an external hard drive.
