Please see attached excel template.  When you click on "Add-Ins" then on far left "Oracle" and next you choose "upload" how can I set the web browser this upload opens in?  It looks like it is using Internet Explorer but I need to set it to Firefox.  Thanks for your help.

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Nothing is attached.

I am guessing that it is opening the default browser which happens to be IE.

Before asking this question I tested making Firefox my default browser but it still looks like this is using Internet Explorer when uploading.  I am wondering if the change needs to be made in the vb script, macro etc...

You can't... Shell.Explorer.2 is the WebBrowser control being used in the code.  It's a hook into Internet Explorer that's more or less guaranteed to be on a windows machine.

You will have to rewrite the code if you want to use Firefox and even then it's more about screen automation than getting access to the underlying web functions.
