picture shows smaller in IE but shows ok in chrome

I have a hosted wordpress website on godaddy.com. The about page is simple just several pictures and wrapped texts.

it shows well in chrome browswer but shows ugly on IE 8.0. How do I remedy this?

It has to do with support for CSS3 and IE 8 which doesn't support it at all. Consider using:


... Normalize to help fix this issue, but in the mean time if you post your CSS, I can have a look and tell you why it isn't working.

Normalize will fix a number of problems that weren't accounted for end users to be using IE 8.

Add this line right above the closing of the head tag, and I'm including the closing tag to show you --- don't put </head> twice:

Between lines 63 and 64 is where the link tag would go

I see you are referring a css file on googlecode.com, I suppose I don't need upload normalize.css file to my ftp folders anymore, am I right.

I got a write permission error when i was doing it.

I can't stress enough the importance in security of uploading your own copy and not using something from google code or otherwise, but in this situation it might be useful for testing purposes, or if you're getting that error.
